I learned how to train in some of the least ideal conditions imaginable — in the military, with a sandbag, a pull-up bar, and whatever broken-down equipment we could drag into a makeshift gym overseas. That’s where my fitness journey started: no frills, no excuses, just grit and consistency.
Since then, I’ve spent over 15 years in the fitness industry helping people build real, usable strength. I specialize in helping people get started, build muscle, move with confidence, and train like their life depends on it (because for military and first responders, it often does). I have certifications as a Personal Trainer, a Strength and Conditioning Coach, and as a Tactical Athlete Coach.
I’ve coached everyone from total beginners to seasoned athletes and I’m passionate about helping people who feel like fitness was never made for them… realize that it absolutely is. That's why I opened Coastal Strength.
My training philosophy is simple:
You don’t need fancy. You don’t need perfect. You just need a plan that meets you where you are and a coach who gives a damn.
I believe in showing up consistently, focusing on what you can do, and building strength that carries over into the real world — whether that’s a fire scene, a deployment, or just keeping up with your kids in the backyard.
When I’m not coaching, you’ll usually find me outside with my dogs, sleeping in a tent somewhere, or volunteering with a local non-profit to connect and support veterans in the Rhode Island area.
If you’re looking for a coach who’ll cut through the fluff, talk to you like a human, and help you build real strength that shows up where it matters — I’m here for that.
